We prepaid $500.00 for Dr. Foster to test our mother for dementia. The only thing we got out of the session was a recommendation for family therapy. Plus she was very late arriving to her office for the appointment, no respect for our time.
Love Yourself enough to NOT BOOK WITH THIS DOCTOR! I'm not sure why this doctor has multiple conflicting information for this one practice as she is the only doctor working independently as Dr Taliba Foster for Mainline Psychiatric. My personal experience with her did not go well at all. You have a hard time reaching her for general questions or concerns unless you pay $175 for 20 mins. Weeks ago, I had made a 12 PM appointment for today. At 10:46 AM I received an email stating that my 12 PM appointment was rescheduled for 11 AM today (I didn’t reschedule). Then I get a second email saying that my appointment is being rescheduled AGAIN for tomorrow, and AGAIN without my knowledge (I didn’t reschedule either of these appointments). I found Dr. Foster on Google, after my son attempted suicide, recently. The intake over the phone was much better than having an awkward onsite intake. I was able to cry on the phone with the young lady who scheduled us. She was also patient and kind. I was surprised at prepayment, but after I had my visit, I am glad it was prepaid. My son who can be resistant to most things and people, really connected with Dr. Foster. This doctor is so full of herself and doesn’t have an ounce of respect for others time. She also doesn’t seem to be as good of a doctor as she promotes herself to be. She seems like she has no idea what she’s doing and is constantly pulling out questionnaires when a good doctor could listen and pick things up. Horrible at refilling medications in a timely manner and more money hungry than actually compassionate for her patients. Very unreliable, seemed unaware of patient history or reason for appointments, missed appointment, misdiagnosed, very unprofessional.
She thinks out of the box which we needed for my sons struggles. Easy to talk to, listens to the patient. Makes you feel included in your treatment plan. Great Dr.!
