Excellent food and service we will go back first chance we get.
Every trip to the Outer Banks is not complete without dinner at this restaurant. Fresh seafood and have NEVER been disappointed.
We have been visiting the OBX for many years. The Tale of the Whale is a consistent "go to" for a fine dining experience. CAUTION, you will have to wait for a table!! It is worth the wait. Servers are always knowledgable on menu items and offer great suggestions. Come hungry and be sure to get dessert! I recommend the Peanut Butter Pie.
Simply amazing some of the most flavorful seafood I've ever ate
The food was wonderful, the prices good but I have never been that cold in a restaurant. So cold the food was cold before I got half through it.

We had Jose as a server he did an excellent job. Very nice people excellent service fast friendly. Good food great veiws.
Always the best. Love the shrimp and grits, best on the beach.
