We have been visiting Tale of the Whale for 39 years. ALWAYS the best...service, view and without exception the freshest, most delicious seafood. Recommend it highly.
Terrific! Waitress was great for our huge party. Food was some of best have eaten! When I go back to OBX will eat there again!!
If you want fresh, sweet seafood and courteous people to serve you, then this is the place. I consider it the best seafood at the OBX.

She crab soup is amazing and wedge salad is huge, enough to share. We arrived close to closing and were treated as if it was early dinner, not rushed or made to feel like we needed to get out as some places do. We had the fish duo and ribeye and both were very good. Would definetly go back.
