No Estimate Given Kirk Talbott came to our home to give us an estimate on a recessed lighting installation, but he never followed through on actually getting that estimate to us. I called him once to ask him where it was and he said he'd get it to me. He never did and it's been over three weeks now since he came to our house. I guess he's got bigger fish to fry???
Overcharging and Arrogant Talbott tried to overcharge me hundreds of dollars by billing me for time their workers weren't on the job, extra time they had to spend to correct their own mistake (they showed up without the right fixtures and had to install temps then swap them out later), and a "gasoline surcharge" that was more than 100% of their total fuel cost for the job. Disorganized but..l. This company is somewhat disorganized, but that is only one or two employees. Outside of that they are great at what they do, their prices are never too high, and they are friendly and want to help you fix whatever it is you need help with.
I won't hire these guys because I was so disappointed with their administrative performance just in getting an estimate. First, after waiting an hour for the estimator to show up, I called and found out that they lost the record of my appointment. Then, after rescheduling, they forgot to send out the price quote, and didn't even have records of the visit in their computer. This firm is too disorganized to win my business.
Old line, do anything company owned by the Talbott brothers. Very, very good.
