The happy hour margaritas and Mexican martinis were awesome but the food was not. All food made with very few ingredients and too expensive for what you get.
What is there not to love about takoba it's like a little piece of Mexico here in Texas. The food is delicious and always fresh. If you grew up on Mexican food you know what real Mexican food taste like and Takoba has it. The people are always friendly. Every time I visit Austin Takoba is a must in the agenda. Oh and did I forget to mention that they have wonderful mimosa and terrific micheladas.
Great food and great atmosphere. Staff was friendly and there was hardly a wait.
