You have to make sure you tip them even if they don't come to you you go to them for service they will get upset frist time there think it'll be my last time there
Horrible experience today at takoba. This used to be my favorite Mexican restaurant in Austin, and I looked forward to visiting upon my return. I was treated terribly by their host and hostess, who gave away our table as we waiting for a handicapped member of our party to exit the car...and then proceeded to inform me that the next table would be available in 30 minutes. The manager was unapologetic and reluctant to validate our parking when we decided to leave. In a town where there are endless Mexican choices...choose else... read more

My girlfriends and I went to brunch there on Sunday at 11:30. We all ate the queso flameado and loved it. However, there were 3 of us that had eggs. Later on that night, in the middle of the night, we became deathly ill. We woke up in the middle of the night and were vomiting and going to the bathroom constantly. Come to find out, we all had food poisoning which was confirmed by a doctor. We are still feeling ill and barely getting back to a place where we have an appetite. 2 of us are still not able to eat.
