Although the service is quick, friendly and the price is cheap the food seems to follow the price. The chilli was very bland and had a strange texture like it's been cooked way too much and the beef and beans started to break down. Also if they make their own coleslaw I think they should try a new recipe, worst coleslaw I've ever had and I love coleslaw and eat it at a lot of restaurants. My daughter and I came out of town all the way from Tennessee and we made it just in time before the deli closed. She and I watch Gone To the Snow Dogs and we just knew we had to make this pit stop. We are so glad we did! We got served the most amazing burgers and cookies (my compliments on the caramel apple cookie especially) and the Ruben I had was the best I’ve ever tasted! ❤️😍 Thank you, Take 5 Deli, for the hospitality and wonderful lunch. If we ever make it out to Alpena again, we’ll be back! ❤️

My husband and I stop at Take 5 every time we visit Alpena. The sandwiches are excellent and satisfiying. We wouod recommend this place !
