Today was my last day as a Peer Advocate. I will truly miss TCC and the wonderful staff, teachers and students there. One advice I can give as a student is to be prepared. Learn the CT link. READ your messages and be aware of deadlines. Most of all, take responsibility for your mistake and don't blame others for your screw-up. 70% of a problem is due to student mistakes.
I've been going here since 2011 and I have nothing but an awesome feedback!!!! Teachers and advisors are the greatest people! Thank you TCC in helping me with my new chapter in my life ❤️
I have enjoyed every day of class I have had on campus. I look forward to coming to school, and for the most part have liked all of my teachers. The staff have always been helpful for me, and the only problems I have had were self-induced.
Tcc used to be great. Now, after switching to the ctc link it's a joke. The staff don't know how to use it, and neither do the students. All the classes are getting screwed up and the classes that I have taken didn't transfer over with the new system. To make it all that much worse the staff don't seem to even want to help, they won't take the time to help you figure out the problem, they just send you on a wild goose chase to many different buildings, only for the issue to remain unresolved. The night Campus safety crew are great!!!! And very polite.
TCC was a great place to go. But today, its a joke. Today I was informed because of an error I have to come up with $89 to pay for something that wasn't calculated with my financial aid. Its simply my responsibility and there is nothing to be done. I Don't have an extra $90 lying around. I'm a mother, full time student and while my husband works full time, money is beyond tight.
