You may apply for financial aid on time and turn in everything required to received your aid. But don't expect to get it on time. Plan to pay for books and supplies out of pocket totaling hundreds of dollars. The financial aid department never has any answers and is always late issuing awards, like weeks after the quarter has begun. Knowing what I know now about the financial aid chaos, I would've chosen to complete my degree elsewhere to avoid the frustration of dealing with financial aid thru TCC.

Loved my experience at TCC. Awesome, top-notch instructors, convenient class scheduling, and really beautiful and centrally-located campus. I only wish that I had been more involved in on-campus groups, events, etc. I highly recommend for anyone's AA, go to TCC. The advisors are knowledgeable and genuinely care about your success - special shout out to the Running Start advisors!

If you want great service without a lot of hassle, do not apply to this college. They pay pass the buck. They give rave lip service and rarely deliver. The worst is the finacial aid office. The staff drags their feet. It takes an hour for 5 people to be seen because the staff takes a 15 minute break after helping each person. I saw several staff socializing in the hallway in the back cubicles with a line of waiting students that went back to the vending machines.
