Used to work at the Taco House many many years ago. I live in Maryland now but every time I am in Portland I try to go :)
Have been eating at The Original Taco House since the mid 60's. I still judge all Mexican restaurants by the Taco House.I do not care for authentic Mexican cuisine or spicy foods, so that probably explains my passion for this restaurants menu. They had a west side location for a very short time, but not anymore, so we have quite a drive to SE Portland.
