Asian approved! Host was a little slow cuz it was busy, but the foods came out pretty fast after we put in orders. And they were BOMBED!! I went there for the first time and i was so glad how authentic the dishes were. But would prefer the twice cooked pork to have a little mala flavor to it. It’s also giving a restaurant in Asia kinda vibe too! Can’t wait to go back for more!!!

This is one of those restaurants that might seem from the outside like another restaurant among a sea of services next to the road. However, as someone who spent 8 years of their life in Iowa, this restaurant holds a special place in my heart and now years later, I still hope to come back and order my regular (three pepper lamb) and maybe relive my time in Ames as a cyclone.

This is my favorite Chinese restaurant. The food tastes very good and the waiter and waitress are very nice and kind. The price is right too 🥰🥰🥰 you should take a visit if you pass by Ames, Iowa.

Whatever you do, don't order the mushroom with tofu and white sauce. My wife's mongolion beef was awesome and so were the pot stickers and crab rangoons. Biting into the mushrooms in mine were like biting into a terrifying nature gusher, tough on the outside with a misterious liquid gushing into my mouth upon biting. The tofu's texture was good for non seared tofu, but the white sauce's texture and color was clearish white with a viscous half jelly half liquid texture.
