great cut and I didn’t have to go home and fix it Very nice, relaxing, no wait not intimidating – I really liked the way we got in and were seated right away, there was no hassle, all attention on us. Very pleasant music. Other places charge a lot and always a bit too busy and way too intimidating for me - Quy is awesome! – she did such a great cut and I didn’t have to go home and fix it!.A definite must for anyone looking for a quality haircut done exactly how they ask!Give Synergy a try you won't be disappointed.

Great Cut and Color I really enjoyed going to Synergy. Team Synergy, currently composed of Quy, Ashley, Levi, and Maxine, work very well together and are a joy to spend time with. My color turned out wonderfully and my hair was styled beautifully. The team do an amazing job of not only pampering but educating their clients. I hav already booked my next appointment
False advertising and Amateur service I visited Synergy Salon over two weeks ago and have sat on my bad feelings to see if they were truly genuine or it was a heat of the moment feeling. I made the appointment over the phone for a cut, color and highlighting with Quy who I was told was the owner. After getting off the phone I felt pretty good about having an appt. with the owner. Talent for those with difficult hair My wife, an Asian woman, has a spiky, short haircut that only looks good when done well. Quy, the master stylist here does it well. My African American, nappy hair is thin in spots and needs to be trimmed carefully to look professional. Quy also does this well. Our son's hair is different in different parts of his head. Some is nappy, some is nearly straight and much is wavy to curly. Quy gives him a cut which makes the most of his assets and cause many to ask just what nationality he is.... read more
WORST HAIRCUT EVER Worst haircut I ever received - i have a long/thin face, she gave my thick hair NO VOLUME it's flat and looks absolutely ridiculous. I was charged $75.00 for this haircut....waste of money and time. Highly DO NOT RECOMMEND this place.
A Pleasant Surprise On my first visit to Synergy, I must admit I was pleasantly surprised. The deceptively quiet shop is truly out of synch with the common image of much hustle and bustle of hair salons. To have someone as nice as Quy to unwind on my otherwise hectic day of work was truly a delight. She most definitely listens to clients and really works with people (regardless of what others may say.) Her team works hard to do the best job they can do and they truly do a wonderful job. I shall be returning soon.

Synergy Salon - Matthews, NC Horrible $130.00 cut & color. I requested hair to be cut one length. Next morning washed & styled my hair to discover damage. Went back an she pretended to give me a credit card refund. Transaction never was applied to my statement. Copy of e-mail she sent to me the following day.
