Your products are poor, and your customer service is even poorer. You should be ashamed to abuse your customers the way you folks do, but clearly you folks are incapable of shame, or you would be crawling on your bare knees on gravel by now. I've used your products for the past few years, but I will NOT be renewing. Go to hell.
I had Norton 360 on my laptop, good until April 2016. Last night, I got a message to reboot to update software, I did that, Norton installed a new version of 360, but it only has 30 days, and they want me to renew. I'm uninstalling and putting my old copy back on. And to the person who said they wanted $99 to log on. One time my machine was filling up because Norton was doing a backup every day, and including yesterdays backup in the new one. Have Norton Security Suite and got a virus. Fine job, Norton. Called support and had 3 chat sessions over two days trying to remove it in which I gave them control of my PC. In each case the support person (all in their center in India) tried deleting some files and then told me to do something else and get back with them if I still had a problem, which I did. The last one told me gave me some instructions and told me if it didn't work it was a hardware issue and to contact the hardware vendor. I finally did an internet sear... read more
BUYER BEWARE. I made the mistake of ordering backup online on May 4, 2013. Norton (Symantec) decided my computer was no longer online & cancelled my account on May 21, 2013. However, they didn't notify me of his until September 22, 2013. I sent an email back to them requesting they put the backup on the correct computer, the computer I used to order this, or refund my money. NEVER HEARD BACK FROM ...THEM. I called because you all's web site would not accept my credit card. When I called your corporate HQ, I was told that you were having a problem with your server. Hmm, I call someone with a problem with their computers which takes them down??? And what do you do? Tell me to dall you all back. It should be the other way around.
Horrible- On hold for hours after transfer with no response. I used Norton on-line backup had trouble Norton people took it on themselves to delete many programs from my computer and wipe out any back-up I had accomplished prior. I can never recover many programs that I had purchased or of course any previously stored file. Pure incompetence! *
