Dang those are good fajitas! Come here when I’m in Houston. New place looks great and still has the old cantina feel.
Love Sylvia's Enchilada location on Dairy Ashford. This was our first time here on Eldridge. The ambience was great! We got there an hour after it opened. My husband ordered carne guisada....the plate was hot but the food was cold, portions were small and the flour tortillas we're crunchy. My food looked and tasted great but it rice was cold and charro beans were barely warm. We were so disappointed. Not what we expected.
Lunch soup and salad was pathetic. Had to send back twice as the cup of fadeo was the size of a espresso cup and salad would barely fit on an espresso saucer. Ordered a bowl of fideo and it was the size of a standard cup at most other restaurants. No one could get full on either for $10.00 bucks each. Sent back bowl, didn't eat lunch at all. Manager offered the proverbial standard, canned and shallow apology. Even though enchiladas are good, won't be back.
Love this place!!!! They have the absolute best fajitas i have ever put in my mouth!!! Manger and staff were super friendly and service was great!!!!

Not quite the same as the Westheimer location. Going to the same place once a week for 15 some odd years even the smallest change will be noticeable. Food was pretty good. Service was solid, we were in good hands. Our waiter, Hugo, recognized us and welcomed us with a big greeting. As anyone who knows me I would drone on about how great the Sylvia's on Westheimer was.
