RecommendedThis is an amazing place to spend the day or a whole week. The lake is crystal clear and you can walk clear around it. Nice camping spaces and clean modern bathrooms. The setting is one of Colorado's finest. We love it there.

An unforgettable sight. A powerful tranquility. Comfortable lodging available. If there is a complaint, it would be the potholes going in. They weren't as deep as they were numerous. I visited in Oct so those may be seasonal.
RecommendedLoved camping here. They do have big thunder and lightning storms.....beautiful ....nice trails, nice lake and not overcrowded.....no hookups, so it's nice and quite. Road to the camp was bumpy and slow going but very worth it...
