This state park offers incredible scenery, great fishing and a plethora of lodging options. The staff is friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend Sylvan Lake State park. We will be returning.

The fall of 2016 has been my second time visiting this excellent park. The scenery speaks for itself, and the wildlife is abundant. The park staff I've interacted with have been friendly and professional. There are both Cabins and Yurts available for the public, I've stayed in the Cabins and they're a perfect base camp for exploring the surrounding area.
My daughter in law and my 8 week old granddaughter had a family visitor from Canada first time to Colorado, beautiful scenery and fabulous walk around the lake. It was great even with the carriage, benches to seat on. My daughter in law and I will be coming back regularly in the spring and summer for day trips...we only live 20 minutes away in Eagle
This place is so amazing and beautiful so peaceful such a amazing place to spend with family loved loved the park rangers are so friendly and helpful
