My husband I were looking for an isolated picnic spot for a few hours. It was perfect for that and a easy walk around the lake. Views are breathtaking and no crowds. Would love to have brought our kayak, but didn't have it. Thought it might be nice to have had a section of lake for swimming.
Beautiful little hide away. A bit too hot, too dirty too windy and the biting flies were horrible. Enjoyed kayaking on the lake.
RecommendedOne of the best campgrounds we visited west of the Mississippi! Lots of trout in the lake and creek! Quiet. Cool and bug free. Beautiful views. Clean restrooms with showers for $1 To help offset he cost and worth every penny
I like going to this area. Great place to relax, do some fishing, hiking, boating and just enjoy nature. The scenery and drive to the park is beautiful. It's worth the drive to this state paek.
Off the beaten path. Easy drive from eagle. No gasoline boats! Perfect for paddle boarding, canoes & kayaks for the family. Saw a few bald eagles, too!
Been fishing for years, its my favorite place to relax and unwind.
