Best Fish Fry All of the food is great at Syd's but if you are in the mood for some great fried fish this is the place. It is family owned and all the staff is just great. The Fish Fry is very reasonably priced and includes chowder or soup, salad, rolls and potato along with a huge piece of fish.
RecommendedHad dinner at Syds Place. The Fishermans platter and Romano Pasta plate were delicious. Our server Alisa was great.
Fish fry was awesome and a great selection of beer! Service was great and outside eating 🍽 on a beautiful night!
I like there food.Waitresses are nice.Food didn't take long to get. I've been going there for years.

Soooo worth the trip! Bedt tacos ever!
Due to COVID restrictions we sat outside and it was a nice day. Had to wait a little for food bc they were extremely busy but food was delicious. We even got to play some cornhole. Beth was a wonderful waitress.
Pleasant staff but the food really was disappointing this time. I let them know and was really sorry to see such poor quality food after having fabulous food last year. I wont be coming back. We had ordered two large dinner platters which had small portions, uncooked scallops, greasy and soggy potatoes. The meatloaf my guest ordered was bland, also soggy. went here for dinner with my boyfriend and friends and was pleasantly surprised. Alisa was wonderful and so sweet. will be returning if i find myself back in Erie!
