Swirlz Cupcakes has always been my absolute favorite cupcake shop - even after I moved to DC. My husband and I recently got married in Chicago, and the only MUST for my wedding was to have Swirlz cater the desserts. We even used a cupcake for the cake-cutting. Paula was a joy to work with, and she was flexible when we had to add some vegan/gluten-free cupcakes to the order. I have been vegan for 11 years and was diagnosed with celiac three years ago. We used Swirlz for our wedding a few years ago and they were fabulous to work with. I’m also currently pregnant and at baby showers that friends and coworkers had for me they bought me a separate frozen Swirlz cupcake from whole foods so that I could have something to eat. I’m so happy to have discovered Swirlz. I have severe dairy and nut allergies and am excited to have found somewhere to buy safe baked treats! They take allergies and cross contamination seriously and the cupcakes are delicious.
