I stood in line for 30 minutes, at Chicago Gourmet, and they closed the line right before me. The event didn't close until 5pm, and it was only 430pm. They were extremely rude. I don't care if your cupcakes are good or not, your customer service was horrible!!!
RecommendedSwirls cupcakes are the best I have ever tasted. I love good cake and there is nothing better than Pam's delicious cake and true buttercream meringue icing. It does not taste sickeningly sweet like other over sweetened cake and icing. The owner, Pam, is a delightful and caring person who takes great pride in her work. Every visit I have to Chicago is an opportunity to eat the best. Please do yourself a favor and go visit her shop. If you can't get there they will deliver to you.

service was great and cupcakes were beautiful. but they all tasted like cornbread muffins some stronger some just a hint. I stopped in to grab vegan cupcakes for my daughters birthday. I thought it was just my palate, but she could taste the corn too. She explained that corn flour is a substitute...So by all means still check them out. Just not my thing, but such a beautiful place with exceptional service.
RecommendedA fabulous bakery and the staff is wonderful to work with you, so accommodating. I needed a small, gluten free wedding cake and they created the most beautiful cake. It was a last minute request and they were able to provide it at a very reasonable cost. Will definitely use them in the future.
