Riverside cottages and lodge units bordering Rocky Mountain National Park. Small family owned business with personal attention to your comfort and the cleanliness of your unit. Outside of town for a more peaceful, relaxed, quiet atmosphere. Hiking trails that start right from here and will take you for miles and miles enjoying what mother nature has to offer. Wildlife, birding, photography, fishing opportunities are all here. We have a semi-private hot tub riverside with a wonderful view of the Big Thompson River.

Loved our stay last weekend! So thankful we were able to get a cabin there at the last minute! Peaceful and loved hearing the sound of the river. Owner was wonderful to us and very friendly. Cabin was clean, well kept with nice amenities.
Apparently this place discriminates, and then when they refuse someone's business due to their discrimination, they don't even refund them their deposit. I'd give them zero stars and suggest they grow up.
These people are bigots. Please do not spend your money here. This business with hate in their heart, will not provide the service you expect.
Gary and Coni (the owners) are always great to work with. It was my wife and I's third time staying within seven years. It is truly our Summer get away from the hot temperatures of south Texas. You can't beat 45 degree nights, maybe low 80s for a daytime high. A great clean place to stay nestled next to the RMNP with the sound of the Big Thompson and the music of the hummingbirds in the air. Clean rooms right on the Big Thompson River. Away from the hustle and bustle of the town, Swiftcurrent Lodge is in a league of its own. Frequent elk and deer sighted on the property or right across the river.
We just returned from a 4-day stay at the lodge. It was far more than we had expected the river was just outside our back door. We enjoyed sitting by the river and in fact listening to it all night as we slept.
The owners are fabulous. The location is quiet, but there is plenty to do. I do not believe I have been this relaxed in a long time. The sound of the Thompson river flowing outside the deck was soothing. A welcome packet in the room to guide you through your stay. The owners take pride in their cabins and they should.
