My philosophy for patient care has been to provide the ultimate care I am capable of. I completed fellowship training in sports medicine and fellowship training in foot and ankle surgery so I could assuredly deliver the type of care I would expect my family members to receive. I frequently tell patients that I will treat their shoulder, knee, or ankle as if it were my own. I enjoy a high success of treating many Orthopaedic problems non-operatively, with the confidence to treat surgically when needed.

Dr. Swick is an amazing surgeon, very empathetic and competent. I would highly recommend him to anyone!
My father told me growing up to have 3 certain people in my life; a good lawyer, accountant and mechanic. Well if dad was alive I would have to add a great Orthopedic surgeon to that list . That is exactly what Dr. Swick is. I have seen him since 2011 starting off with a fractured right foot, torn right pectoral muscle, elbow pain and the latest being torn bicep tendons bilaterally. Yes, lightning struck twice with me. All of which have healed with no side effects. I trust Dr. Swick!
Because I have a brittle bone disorder and I am only 30 with hopes of keeping up an active lifestyle, knowing that Dr Swick specializes in foot and ankle surgery put me at ease when I was facing a Trimal ORIF ankle surgery. Dr Swick was gracious enough to come to my hospital even though he was not on call at the time and he has shown the utmost care every step of the way. He listens and understands the concerns that arise during the healing and waiting period and treats you like family.
I highly recommend Dr. Matthew Swick. I came to him with a problem another doctor could not treat successfully, so the other orthopedic doctor suggested I see Dr. Swick. He treated the foot problem using the latest technology for pain as well as the utmost diagnostic and surgical skill. More than a successful treatment, Dr. Swick listened to all my questions and thoughtfully answered them. He is truly a patient oriented doctor.
Dr. Swick surgically repaired my Jones fracture and performed a subtalar fusion. He is an excellent communicator and I felt very informed during the entire process. My foot feels great. I am thrilled with the outcome. Thank you Dr. Swick!
I had to have an ankle replacement last year and was referred to Dr. Swick. I am a very picky person when it comes to doctors but after my first appt. with Dr. Swick, I knew that he was a doctor that I could trust. He was very good at explaining everything that would take place for my ankle replacement. He is very professional and has a fantastic personality, His immediate staff has always been very kind and helpful, The front desk staff could use some training on customer service,
Dr. Swick is a very professional and talented surgeon. I wish I had gone to him for surgery 3 years ago. I had torn ligaments and a tendon in my foot more than 3 years ago. I wore a brace until my nurse practitioner encouraged me to go see him. She had seen him for an Achilles' tendon and said he was the BEST surgeon. Now I have to agree. I am walking again without a limp and without a brace for support. Thank you so much Dr. Swick!
Dr. Swick has treated me for various injuries for the past 3 years. I am always pleased with not only his skilled diagnoses & treatment, but also his bedside manner. He is kind, humorous, and really listens to & values your input. Most recently, I broke my wrist; he was able to see me the following morning & after explaining my options, operated to implant a metal brace that very afternoon. After 12 weeks, my wrist is almost as good as new and improves daily. Thanks, Doc!
