Went to Sweet Maples years ago and it was AMAZING. We went this morning and ummmm here’s my updated review. My how things have changed. The cooks in the back are...different. The unseasoned food, the girl walking around like she was trying to hurry people up to finish their food, the biscuits were dry and they were cold, the eggs weren’t medium scrambled, they were runny... we decided to try the pork chops. Good food, great service!
We are from Peoria, Il. Found this place on Google . We checked for breakfast in the area we were in and Sweet Maple Cafe Chicago came up. We took a chance to find it and ate there. Great breakfast and extremely friendly staff! We were rushing to the airport and while putting together quickly our order we had a great conversation with a very sweet older woman who we think was the owner. She lighted up when we told her I was a Spaniard living in Boston — apparently her son studied in Madrid while at Stanford and her daughter just starts grad school at Harvard.
