For me it’s *all* about the frosting. They make the best buttercream I can find. It makes me not want to eat other cakes; it’s not worth it. So glad SMBs is still around! I’ve been a customer since...forever.
The cupcakes we had were delicious, carrot cake and vegan vanilla BUT $9.00 for a small coffee and 2 small cupcakes is way too much. Plus prices on their website are lower. We were going to take home some bars quoted as $2.90 each but were over $4.50!! They should correct their website. 5 stars for cupcakes but a 1 star for prices.
My favorite bakery anywhere!!! And I live 2,000 miles away!

We’re in Chicago on a mini vacay, and we tried the mint iced brownie and the apple streusel pie. Absolutely delicious!
