Cute little place. Yummy and beautiful desserts! But I would recommend cleaning the dining area. Floor was really dirty and ledges had dead flies and dirt.
My favorite bakery in the city! You can literally smell the sweets from down the street. I don't think I've ever tried anything that I didn't like.
We came to Chicago with our good friends to take our daughters to The American Girl Place. I wanted to find a great bakery while there, upon researching beforehand we found Sweet Mandy B's! We tried a little of everything and brought home many things also! Everything was amazing, I'm sad we live over 2 1/2 hours away and may just have to make a special trip back just to go to Sweet Mandy B's!
We bought the double doozies & they were great! My first visit there & I'll be going back soon! They have lots of great sweet treats!
Poor selection plus disinterested staff equaled a very disappointing experience. So disappointing in fact, that, on the way home, I stopped at the nearby Mariano's and got a cake that I was happy to bring to my event. The original cake from Sweet Mandy B's may still be in the trash can outside of Mariano's
