Love It!!!! – I love dining st Sweet Lorraine's. It's always a treat! You can be adventurous and try something new or if you have a boring eater in the group, there's the usual fare as well. I absolutely LOVE the house salad!! Always something new...which keeps me coming back!
DANGEROUS! – I USED to love this place!! About a month ago service, and food slipped dramatically. At first it was just over-cooked, or late, but then worst possible thing happened. I ordered my favorite, the traverse city pasta with chicken. I got my meal after a 45 minute wait, starving, I dug in. Total Rip Off – This place was a total rip off for catering. They charged (for 12 people) $20 delivery PLUS add'l $50 for a 20% automatic service charge, even if they were late. Total bill was $360 and the food was just std catering fare. I should have waited to get the total, but they made me wait 5 minutes so I gave up. Called to discuss the $70 service charge and after 2 weeks got absolutely no resolve. Don't bother.
Sweet Loraine's Cafe – I've never had a bad meal at Sweet Loraine's. Have not tried the location in downtown Detroit, but assume that it is as good.
