The doctors, nurses and staff are so compassionate and empathetic. They are constantly asking how the patients are doing and what more they can do to make them feel better.

You guys need to look into Dr. Moen in First Hill Downtown Seattle location. What kind of doctor hears that a patient has severe anxiety and refuses to refer them to the proper doctor? When I asked for a referral to the Anxiety Specialists in Seattle, his response was, "I can write a referral letter, but I don't know what the reason would be."! I was in Emergency Department at Swedish First Hill on Wednesday night. The medical care was great; top notch. However this place is DANGEROUS. It’s well known that Seattle has residents with both psychiatric illness and drug addiction. Unlike every other ED in Seattle this hospital has no meaningful security. They have no metal detectors and no real police. The few “security officers“ they have are clueless. I was seriously hurt and in a wheelchair: my husband was standing b...Continue Reading

This is surely never the type of report we like to hear, Ann! At Swedish, our patients and staff's safety and comfort is our number one priority. We do understand some areas and locations may be more dangerous than others, but it is our top priority to ensure a secure level of safety for everyone working and visiting our facility. We would love to hear more and speak with you regarding this issue. Could you please give our Patient Relations department a call at 206-386-2111 or you can email us at, clinqualityinvestigations@s... read more

I was referred to Swedish by my primary care doctor at Bellevue Family Medicine after struggling with positive H Pylori results over the course of several months. I was first set up to meet Dr Mack who was kind but also extremely sick that day. She was unable to examine me because she was so ill herself, coughing, sneezing and struggling. She asked me several questions about my symptoms and decided to refer me to get an Endoscopy. 2 weeks after that, I was back at Swedish at ...Continue Reading
