I was admitted through the ER amidst the height of COVID 19 chaos. While I eventually cleared negative from COVID I had some very serious pneumonia to contend with. The staff are courageous and compassionate and never lost sight of the fact that they are there to treat human beings who may be scared and lonely. From ER teams, respiratory therapists (my true heroes), Hospitalist, nurses, even the housekeepers I cannot say enough or ever possibly express enough gratitude for all they do, every day!

Business response:

Good morning, Rick. What a beautiful testimony to the care we aim to provide our patients here at Swedish. We are so proud to hear you felt compassion and comfort during your stay. Thank you for taking the time to share about your experience with us! We wish you well on your continued healing!

I have been a patient of Dr. Kitty for a few years. His staff is incompetent and rude; their entire staff, including Dr. Kitty Kaibooriboone do not know how to use Epic which is connected to MyChart and after 4 calls trying to get assistance and failing to resolve the issue due to them not understanding how to to their job. In retaliation, they have become upset with me and fired me as an epileptic patient during the Coronavirus and if I get a fever, there is a high risk of seizure activity and death. All because some admini... read more

administrators have reduced staff, overworked current staff, and operate now as Profit first, patient second. This breaks my heart. When I was growing up, Swedish was the gold standard for hospitals...for patient care and as a professional medical environment. I remember when you could feel fortunate to be there if you needed care. I've moved out of Washington, and that may be a good thing because now it would be my last choice...and as I said that breaks my heart.

Swedish has unsafe staffing. Everyone in worked to the bone because Their CEO would rather pocket the money instead of hiring enough Nurses and Housekeeping staff to run the hospitals safely.
