Wonderful salon! Swayne on Main is an excellent gem of a hair salon tucked away in the Main Strasse Village area of Covington. You can get a high-quality hair cut or color without having to visit one of the mega-salons in Cincinnati. The stylists are all very well trained and have up to date knowledge on the latest styles. Pricing is average. Parking on the street only.
Precision haircut Although in MOST parts of my life I am a very relaxed and easy-going person, when it comes to my hair I have some pretty specific ideas about how I want it to look. Kevin has been cutting my hair precisely for over 15 years. He has always been open to my "new" ideas and able to deliver a precise and very awesome haircut each time. I hope Kevin is still cutting hair 40 years from now : )
My best visit per date I'm really happy to say that my first visit to this salon was an awesome experience. My hair color really needed some help, and I was kind of unsure if kevin could help. But, Kevin really talked to me and asked questions till he understood what I wanted. He really went the extra mile and took time working to get the color just right. Kevin is the Best! Swayne On Main is the best! It's not unlike finding the perfect gift in a small boutique, only in this case the gift is for myself! Kevin Swayne is fantastic! FINALLY! I've found the best! I moved here from Arlington, Texas, five years a ago. I have gone through 10 stylists in the past five years and haven't been completely happy with any of them. UNTIL Kevin! I haven't had a hair cut like this in YEARS! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT! Kevin The Genius! I have had the same hair style for the past five plus years through three salons, and was having problems with my color. As the grey grew, the color treatments became more frequent and intense, to the point where my scalp was burned and irritated. I was desperate to be rescued when a total stranger recommended Kevin.
