She is unfailingly compassionate, attentive and competent.
Dr Kakodkar is the BEST doctor for anxious patients . I have a LOT of anxiety and she always listens to me patiently . She is so kind and warm and always offers a solution to all my health concerns . She is VERY thorough in all of her tests and exams . I have been seeing her since 2014 and I feel like she is a dear friend at this point .
Dr. Kakodkar is very thorough, genuine, and professional. She is curious when you have a concern. She is organized in her approach to solving it whether labs, follow up, specialist, etc.. She makes sure to check your labs routinely and is very supportive in making sure you have all your age appropriate exams, labs, and follow ups scheduled.
After dealing with a chronic nerve condition for a few years I have been seen by a multitude of specialist, physical therapists, surgeons and doctors in another state. I have mountains of medical records, imaging and paperwork to prove it. Upon consult (too short, 20 mins) she did not believe my condition, will not prescribe medications that allow me to function or deal with extreme pain, not interested in helping much. Does respond to messages, appointments are easy. Network is very limited.
She is absolutely the best, listens to you, treats with respect and saved my life. Even sending my mom to see here... I drive 2 hours to see her.
Dr kakodkar has been a wonderful Doctor to me and my family. She treats me with respect and really hears what I have to say. Her desire to actually help combined with her empathy and brains leads me to refer her to everyone.
NO STARS. My insurance changed, and I set up an apt. to establish care- also to obtain referrals to continue treatment I have been receiving for the past few years. Dr Kakodkar was extremely condescending during our unbelievably short appointment and refused to discuss referrals with me- she said that would be another appointment. I left without my needs met and felt dismissed. She obviously didn't care about me/my history, even going so far as to badmouth previous treatments outside her office.
