My childtren have been patients of Dr. Kuta's since 2007. They are now both in College and continue to see her by choice. We have always been confident in her knowledge and quality of care. She is personable attentive and genuine. She listens to our concerns and answers all our questions. We always look forward to seeing Nurse Mary and Dr. Kuta. They are a great team!
We took our 9 year old to Dr. Nelson after going through many GI at Lurie Childrens. She was amazing with our daughter - very thoughtful in her approach. She has always responded quickly via the Lurie system when we had questions. I am an adult internal medicine doctor so VERY picky and she exceeded our hopes!! Highly recommend.
I have 4 sons from Middle School to Elemantry to Preschool age. Dr. Kuta and nurse Mary are the best. Every visit from shots to ear infections is always a wonderful and engaging. The boys are always excited to see and talk with nurse Mary. Dr. Kuta always finds such wonderful ways to get the boys to sit for exams, throat swabs, and even shots, which my oldest is terrified of. Out of all our moving they are the best medical staff we have ever had the pleasure of meeting
Every experience at Dr. Kuta's office is pleasant. Dr. Kuta and her team were an answer to our prayers when we moved to area in 2012. They are patient with my boys, answer all their questions as well as mine, and she takes her time explaining everything. She is the most thorough doctor I have ever worked with and I trust her completely. My boys receive excellent care at this office.
Every experience with Dr. Kuta treating my 10 month old son has never been pleasant. Took me about 4 visits to finally switch doctors for mine and my son's sake. Dr. Kuta is rude, abrasive, dismissive and I always felt like a burden to her when I would ask questions regarding care for my son or for advise on formula. Some of the responses from her would be, "Just read the instructions" or "Google it." I have more to add however, the character count won't allow it.
My daughter was born with significant Port Wine Stain Birthmarks on her face and her back. If I can show you all before and after pictures it would prove how good Dr. Wagner is. I have worked with many doctors in my time and telling you all that she is seriously one of the best.
I took my 15 yr old daughter to see Dr. Nelson. We were very disappointed with the visit overall. As a specialist who works with children, I was expecting more from her. She spent less than 10 minutes with us and did not seem to care about finding the cause of my daughter's GI pain. She is definitely not warm and fuzzy, like she portrays on her website. If you are looking for a pediatric GI, I'd look elsewhere.
Dr. Nelson does not rush you out the door. She is very kind and listens to what you have to say. My daughter saw her the first time at 9 and is now 14. We have seen other pediatric GI's with changes in insurance plans and she is the best! She was quick to get my daughter in when she was having issues too!
Misdiagnosed my child as having a condition that would require surgery under general anesthesia. Another derm correctly diagnosed it as something much less serious that could be treated in 3 min in office without surgery.
