RecommendedSuper friendly staff. Very short wait time. The doctor is very thorough, and takes her time to explain things to you in layman’s terms. They give you their notes each time you leave, so you have their medical records for your files.
Our pediatricians office was closed today and my son had an earache. I called ahead to set the appointment with suwanee Pediatrics but when I got there they couldn't find his appointment so I had to give them all my information again. Next, they asked me to fill out paperwork to obtain his medical records for an additional fee. I told them that was not necessary since I will be returning to my pediatrician and only here for today. This is a great pediatrics. They saw my kids right away. It wasn’t a long wait like with the other pediatrics my kids came from. They’ll very welcoming. The doctor was able to tell what type of eczema my daughter was dealing with and prescribed her medicine. She had severe eczema she gave a cream to get it under control and a cream for long use to help keep under control. My son has bad allergies. She prescribed him meds for allergies and schedule him and my daughter for allergy test and got him an inhaler for his wheezing. ... read more
There's often a wait but I don't mind it for how much the Doctor and Nurses care and take time for my child. The doctor is very informative when explaining a diagnosis and often wants quick follow ups to closely monitor a child when sick. They're also open on Saturday!
we just moved here and I found this just because of closeness to our home. Our apt was at 11 and I had a feverish toddler and 2 older children still waiting almost an hour later. The receptionist was nice but very overwhelmed. She had no one helping her and expected me to fill 3 packets repeating the same information (address, name, insurance card information...) over and over again in each packet. My child is on Amerigroup insurance and the Dr was assigned as her pcp. We went last minute. They took us. Evetything moved fast until it was time to wait for the Dr. She was very about business and not the warm and fuzzy but I just needed help for my daughter. The warm/welcoming temperment would have been a bonus. The question is if I will remain once I get a job that offers indurance for me and my children and go back to their prior pediatrician or will I stay here. We will see.
