Do not go to Sutter Health if you have any serious health issues. Their specialists will write you off when experiencing dire health issues (even with an urgent referral), it takes months for medical records to reach their hospital, by the time you wait for them to do something to address your symptoms it will be too late. This is the most disappointing and disturbing experience I've ever had at any medical center.
Horrible service. They do not care about your medical concerns. They were supposed to complete my forms and I'm on disability. The call center has left them 7 urgent messages. They have even called me back once. The due date to turn my forms in is tomorrow 9/9/25 am I had to drive 30 miles to them. And now they're still telling me that it can't be done today even though the single form doesn't even take more than 5 min. I will go after Sutter with all my power.
Called to schedule an URGENT appointment as ordered by my husband's doctor. The gentleman who answered the phone shouldn't be working with people who are sick or have loved ones who are sick. He was extremely rude, condescending and dismissive when I expressed my shock at the fact that there's not an appointment available for 5MONTHS and meanwhile my husband is suffering and out of work with some unknown condition with no diagnosis until we see this doctor. Switched from kaiser and 100 percent regret. Sutter is such a money grab. All insurances are but this is 10x worse than kaiser. They want you to be seen for every little thing even things that can clearly be done over the phone. My kid has been in speech for 1.5 years and therapist wanted a hearing eval and they said she needed an apt to put a referral in. The apt was 1 question "why does she need a referral" which I had already told them why at least 3xs .. then they gave her a referral and charged us 200 bucks for the apt.... read more
If you have to check in at Pediatrics Do Not go to the receptionist Raffah, the guy behind the desk. It took him 25-30 mins to check me in. We are established Sutter patients and completed our easy arrival form on the app 48 hrs before arrival. Because of his lack if training or willingness to learn his job correctly, he told me that now I was late (because he had to go to a coworker 2x to ask what and how to do).
