I had a very negative experience with Nurse Practitioner Mellissa King-Jacobs at Sutter Endocrinology. I came to her for help with severe fatigue that was affecting my ability to work and function, but instead of being met with empathy or support, I felt dismissed and belittled. Her sarcastic and judgmental comments left me feeling shamed, retraumatized, and completely unsupported. Highly illegal behavior going on here. After being overcharged for multiple appointments, they've decided that they want to try to blame the patient because they say I should've anticipated how my doctor was going to set the appointment even though I set the appointment as a follow up and only had a two minute visit because I was feeling under the weather and they asked me to not come into the office but rather meet over video.
Went here for a sports physical and was told it would be $90 being outside of their network, then received a bill for $263. Absolutely ridiculous. It was not disclosed to me that there would be any other charges. In the process of review/disputing these charges.
