Dr Steve,truly cares about his patients. Not only in his program, but also how it affects them in their everyday life. He has a genuine interest in your child's well being. He is kind and patient and a truly brilliant therapist. Our son went to Dr. Steve for maybe six months and in that short amount of time his behavior definitely changed for the better. We attended group sessions virtually, and Dr. Steve's motivational methods definitely helped not only behavior, but also respect for his parents, willingness to do chores, and even helped him become more motivated to do homework. All the while laughing as Dr. Steve's corny jokes! Dr. Steve reinforces what the parent is trying to accomplish and the kids definitely listen to him.
I contacted Dr. Sussman after doing a lot of research and it turned out to be a wise decision. He answers my question very quickly, no matter in the early morning, late night or during the weekend. He does it not because it’s his job but because he has a good heart. He cares about your kids and cannot bear them suffering.My son likes the time being with him and expects the rewards so that he tries to do better.I’m very grateful for all the information and suggestions that Dr. Sussman gave to us, which help us lot!
Dr. Steve does a great job! He keeps the kids and families engaged through his humor. He uses several different creative forms of rewards to motivate the kids. He was also available whenever needed to troubleshoot any issues or consult with us concerning our child’s behavior. I would definitely recommend his services.
Dr. Steve is awesome!! We enjoy coming to group together weekly. He really motivates my son to be the best he can be. I also love how he is always reachable and ready to help!
Dr. Steve is great!! We can always call him anytime we need help and he would get back to you asap, which most of other doctors can't do. My son has ADHD and he improved a lot with Dr. Steve's group session and he really likes it!
Dr. Steven Sussman is a excellent therapist who makes weekly sessions interesting and entertaining for both the children and parents. The children and teenagers are scored on a point system weekly on how they do at home, school, and with responsibilities which helps to change a child's behavior into a work positive one. Dr. Steve unique way of group therapy helped my 11 years old daughter build confidence and stay focused.What I like about him also is that his jokes are so hilarious always put a smile on everyone’s face. Dr. Steve is awesome!!
Dr Steve is great. We used his services while my son was younger and now we returned while he is older . He has a different technique to his therapy and the kids love it. He is fun! I have seen some improvements in my child behavior. In addition ,with Dr Steve I am hopeful and confident to see more improvements as we continue therapy.
