Though some people might complaint about the loads of plastic being used here, Sushi Sasa does come highly recommended for anyone who would like a delightful sushi meal. Apart from the traditional sushi, you will also find several innovative dishes that use exotic fish, prepared in Japanese style. The restaurant menu features an excellent sake and wine list.

LOUSY Service – Lousy service from start to finish and no satisfaction from the manager who should have at least asked us to give them another try. The sushi was outstanding, but so's the fish at Banzai Sushi on Leetsdale and THEY offer excellent service. That's where I'll be going from now on.
Horrible Service **** Stay Away – Went there last night for the last time. This was probably my fifth time in the restaurant and each time the service gets worse and worse. We had 7:15 reservations and were trying to make to Nuggets game at 8:30, if we showed up a little late to the game no big deal. Well we got there at half time because our server, whom we told that we were trying to get to the game, took over two hours to get the sushi out to us. Good sushi but horrible service. Stay away.
Doesn't Live Up to the Hype – I was excited to find a new sushi restaurant in Denver but was disappointed when I finally went to SushiSasa. I just could not jump on this bandwagon. The atmosphere is pretentious to go with their snobby wait staff. The stark white, bare walls also make for a loud, uncomfortable environment. I've been to sushi restaurants in California and Manhattan and it's obvious they're trying too hard. The sushi was only average with minimal effort in presentation. The rolls were tasteless and the rice, dr... read more
Eat Your Heart Out Nobu! – I kid you not, this place sets the standard for Sushi almost anywhere. With the rapid decline of Sushi Den, and a recent trip to Sushi Nobu in Vegas, it is clear that Sasa has it ALL going on! Unbelievable quality and flavor. By far some of the best fish I have ever had. And the best part is the consistency. I have eaten there over a dozen times over the last few months and every time it is over the top. MAKE RESERVATIONS
No need to go south for great sushi – NW denver finally has a sushi restaurant to rival the likes of the den and japon. It's as fresh as any I have every had from LA to NY and the presentation and creative menu rivals the likes of British Columbia or San Francisco. I am constantly impressed by the range of the chef and his desire to challenge your taste buds. It's a strange habit but I have always judged the quality of my sushi experience by the flavor and freshness of the hamachi. Sasa delights in every way and their hamach... read more
Great Sushi but too loud!!! – Everything is excellent about this place except the noise. There is something about the space that if you get more than two or three couples at tables, you can't hear a word without screaming. So if you can get past that..I would recommend the place 100%. It is great and in a great location!
WOW!!!!!!! – I am a fan of fine food. I have dined at many great sushi restaurants. Sushi Sasa is hands down the finest meal that I have ever had the pleasure to eat. Sit at the Sushi bar and Let the Owner/ Head Chef create whatever he is in the mood blow you away with. This place is in a whole different league than the Sushi Den! Take your date and a full wallet. Sushi Sasa is expensive but well worth it.
User review by parasmussen – Excellent addition to the Sushi Dining in Denver. Destined to be the best!!
Sushi Sasa - Not Just So-So – At the time of this writing, Sushi Sasa had been open for 6 weeks (according to our waitress). Sushi Sasa is a very contemporary, sexy restaurant with modern decor. It's very cozy and seemed geared to young couples or groups of adults. I suppose families with children could go, but the ambiance would be wasted on them. I enjoyed the quality and flavor of the food. I'm picky about my sushi rice and the rice was perfect (ie, not dried out or soggy). The fish was fresh and tasty. As for portion siz... read more
