Sushi Nabe was my introduction to sushi about twenty years ago and has steadily remained the standard by which I judge sushi when I'm traveling. Very, very few places come close to Nabe's culinary excellence. Sushi Nabe is world class in a small city! Be sure to try the Nabe salad and the Crabtacular!

My family knew nothing about sushi when this wonderful family came to town to practice their craft. They made this wonderful form of cuisine accessible to the local people, and also helped us to elevate and widen our tastes. Having now tried sushi all over the USA, Europe, Korea, and yes, Japan, I can say that their food holds its own on a world scale. :) The Watanabes do everything with excellence, and every person I've brought to their restaurant agrees that it's the best sushi experience they've ever had.
Nabe is a wonderful man, who takes pride in his craft. My father and I have been coming here for years. Easily the best sushi experience in Chattanooga.
