I've been coming here for a couple years. They have the best sushi around and the prices are great. You must try the Spicy Crab Cheese Tempura or Salmon on the beach.
Love sushi land!! So nice to have a great local family place nearby!! Huge bonus that it is amazing!! Clarkston rolls, yum yum roll, and the jalapeño bomb are my favorite!!!
Sushi Land is a less than 5 minute drive from my house, so I go there when I want sushi. The prices are fairly decent, the staff friendly, and the atmosphere very nice. The only problem I've had was the last time I went I ordered a Chirashi bowl and my favorite component, the octopus, was room temp and slimy. All the rolls I've had have been great though.
The best sushi I have had in a long time, and the staff was so accommodating and welcoming. I would recommend the Oakland roll. So good!!!
Great atmosphere. Terrific food. Friendly service. I lived in Japan for two years and Sushi Land is a welcomed addition to the Waterford/Clarkston area. Almost feels like a second home.
The best sushi for being a little hole in the wall
The best. .. not only sushi but service too. Taylor is so good, she remembers us! We are always greeted with a smile. We try to visit at least once a month. The black tiger is our sons (5 yo) favorite & the ginger is our daughters (2).
Here's my experience...not even 3 steps into the restaurant I was immediately greeted and was walked to the bar by a rather charming young guy and literally no joke the food was in front of me about the same time it took to look over the menu and give my order...about 5 minutes from walking in I was eating...so I then spent the next 15 minutes eating making small talk with the chef and his assistant and watching pawn stars..I knew walking in about the specials and took full advantage of it...it was Thursday and got 5 salmon ... read more
