A child UNFRIENDLY restaurant in Bellevue - RUN!!! – DO NOT visit this restaurant if you have kids or if you dare to stand up duirng your meal. My family and I went to this restaurant today (Sep. 1st 2006) and I had a HORRIFIED experience. Hidden Gem! – I love, Love, LOVE Sushi In Joy. Their tempura and terriyaki are the best in town. The small touches are what make this place great. Like a brush of lemon on the ebi - excellent! Tucked behind a gas station and next to a liquor store, you'd never imagine this kind of quality in a strip mall. But believe it! Prices are very reasonable for sushi.
Best bento, lunch and dinner! – I've never been so satisfied by such a makunouchi bento! It has everything! You can literally share that for two! Sashimi, sushi, katsu, tempura, teriyaki...the works! Their lunch special is also awesome, good taste and value. Dinner is on the pricey end though.
