Came here 1/18/25 for a 7 o’clock $100 17 course omakase, not my first choice but was open to try. We got there a little early and were sat at bar a little after the 7pm start time , I was taking a pause from drinking for dry January so only drank water which they didn’t get to refill until the end. The course does come with one complimentary shot. Mm I wish I could say better things. I paid for dinner and then for the NYE event. It was nearly $400 for both. Dinner was nice, but the event was a MESS. No one including the staff seemed to know what was going on. They promised a DJ and there was none. There was lipstick on my cup that was not mine. The floor was sticky? They ran out of hors d’oeuvres an hour into the event. They had one bartender and it was not enough. I almost hopped behind the bar myself to help. I paid way too much for what this event was. Not a great experience after having an amazing first experience at an omakase restaurant in NYC. While the atmosphere is very modern and aesthetic, the food itself was mediocre. A cocktail recommended by the bartender was not very good. Bar was filled with influencers recording everything and themselves which was rather obnoxious and took away from the experience as well. The Sugar Factory of omakase where it’s just for the glitz and glamour and photos / videos.
