Her very self-righteous office staff needs to be educated on insurance. I called to make an appointment to have skin tags removed. She asked for my insurance, and then said we don't accept that insurance. I said ok, fine, I'll pay out-of-pocket. She then said to my utter disbelief...No, we can't do that because that would be insurance fraud. What?! You don't accept my insurance, so I want to pay in cash, how exactly is that fraud? Our whole family has seen Dr Woods at some point, great staff and doctor.
Dr Susan Woods has been my dermatologist for about ten years now. I’ve never had a problem with anyone in her office, including her. She is so sweet, caring and let’s me have a say in my care. I’ve struggled with acne for a long time and she knows I’m not a fan of needles, so she let me decide to not try accutane. I’m comfortable with the treatment plan we decided to go with that doesn’t involve needles. I’ll never get another dermatologist ❤️

Dr Woods perhaps is very knowledgeable but I would not know that as she maybe spent two minutes with me as she did my squamous cell removal warning me of the extreme danger of ecoli infection from the surgery and then left the room.(although as I waited to be seen I could hear lengthy conversations with 'beauty' patients in the other rooms). If it werent for her dedicated, efficient nursing staff I'm not sure the practice would even function. My thought is that her heart is in the more glamorous aspect of her profession. Her... read more
