I have been under Dr Uhrich and her nurse practitioner, Cinderella, care for 6 month now and all I can say is I am worse now than I was before I stepped foot in that door. I have been prescribed more than a handful of medications since day one. At least 5 just to start with. How can anyone possibly decipher what is doing what with so many possible side effects from mixing or just my body not agreeing to it. They do not listen to you at all. They just do not care.
Terrible experience!!! I was prescribed a very high dose of an anti-psychotic that I have never taken before to help with sleep and ended up having an adverse reaction. I ended up in ICU for a week. I tried to get released from the hospital, but they said she would have to approve and she felt it was best that I be sent to another facility (mental hospital) for medication management. I finally got the hospital to get another doctor to release me. Needless to say I won't be going back there ever.
Has a deep knowledge of psychopharmacology and psychology and also has a sense of intuition that surpasses any doctor I've ever experienced. I would recommend her for treatment-resistant depression she is the most qualified doctor in the area. also has a positive attitude and compassionate and supportive affect.
Horrible, unorganized staff. They always screw up your file or appointment in some way. Wait times were at least half an hour, but often as much as an hour and a half. Dr. Uhrich believes in stuffing a patient full of high-dose meds. Even when I'd be adamant about not wanting to try a certain drug (side effects, too strong, etc.) they would deny me any other options until I tried it. No therapy recommended either- just pill popping. Sure that's great for strong short term fix, not for long term.
Was discharged for no reason with no explanation. I'm a very young single mother & lost my job plus my child & wrecked my vehicle all in the matter of two months. So let's say it hasn't been good at all. & for some reason Dr. Urich didn't find that enough to see me as a patient after seeing me for five months. I was finally feeling better and like myself again, now I am back into the depression & feeling worthless.
Terminated me with no notification or reason. When I called is when I got the most unprofessional receptionist and rudest person I have ever dealt with. Advise me that I was sent a certified letter terminating me, which I never received. I informed this person I was never notified, and I asked for what reason, none was provided . If I really needed mental help at this point, she would have sent me off the deep end. Wanted to, but never seen Dr. Uhrich only nurse practitioner.
I never saw the Dr. so I can't comment but I have NEVER had a response like the one I received from her manager. NO explanation from Misty at all, just told we cant accept you. I said I am sorry I don't understand and she basically said sorry and that's it. Who turns a patient away first of all then with no explanation after I request is it insurance or what. Misty needs training on self awareness and some professionalism. What a joke and other choice words.
Dr.Uhrich saved my life. After seeing 5 different doctors in one year and being misdiagnosed, I had just about giving up and felt like suicide was my only option. My 1st visit with Dr.Uhrich was incredible. She actually LISTENED TO ME, she heard me and showed compassion. (Unlike the others) She is very straight forward & honest. It has been 3 months now and with her correct diagnosis I am 90% better. I can honestly tell you she literally saved my life and I am truly grateful for her.
The manager susan urich and one of the associates smoke so damn much they come to work smelling like lung cancer, but the services arent that, that bad.so. a star for not being kinda good, as long as they get better.??
