I would not give any stars if possible. Horrible doctor, no bedside manner, gruff, know it all, it is her way or no way. Pumps you up with drugs to keep you coming back over and over again even when it does not help.
I was in terrible pain when I first went to Dr. Pollan and she helped me so much. I was very surprised by the negative comments about her. I had a very good experience.
i have had numerous problems with pain in my back, feet, and shoulder for the past 35 years. the pain the last 10 years has been debilitating. i have consulted with many, many, surgeons, PCP's, and pain specialists over the years, so i think i can speak from experience. NEVER have i encountered a so-called pain MD that is so uninformed, bombastic, and close-minded. stay as far away from this physician as possible. you would be better off just maintaining a piece of mind with aspirin!
She was traumatically horrid with me. Her attitude exuded disbelief. Her responses to my questions were inadequate. Because of her unfulfilled promises and behavior, I've become even more terrified of Massachusetts Doctors.
The girls in the office are awsome, very friendly and easy to talk to. The doctor on the other hand always seems to have wokeing up on the wrong of the bed. Very untrusting and thinks that your lieing all the time. She makes you feel like your being questioned by the police and doesn't believe anything you're telling her.
She's very thorough and caring and has a nice bed-side manner which is the first thing I look for in a doctor
