This place is the *ABSOLUTE* worst Optometrist I have visited, and I am begging my fiance to switch to my new doctor. I have worn glasses/contacts for 14 years, have moved 3 states and 8 cities, and have had to get 8 different eye doctors when I move. This place ranks last. Please please please do yourself the favor and go elsewhere. I'm only giving 1-star because you cannot go below that. Impossible to contact. Poor communication. I waited for my contacts for over a week and then called numerous times to only get the vm. Finally called me back and told me my contacts were back ordered and that they don’t know when it will come in. No options, just deal with it. Also no follow up. So, I’ll get my order sometime between now and never? They did give me a weeks worth to hold me over which was nice but those are out and now I’m left not knowing anything still. Appointment was fine. My concern would be the customer service received after the appointment. Called, as directed, to order my contacts a week after my exam. Associate quoted a price without either checking to see if I had insurance or asking me if I wanted to use insurance. When I asked if the price was after my insurance, she then checked my insurance info. She repeatedly told me that I had already ordered glasses or contacts that year. I told her I had not. I went today for my first visit at this office as I live near the mall and the location is convenient for me. I had a fantastic experience. I was greeted warmly upon arrival, then asked to fill out my new patient paperwork while the ladies behind the counter verified my insurance info. I was actually brought back about 5 mins before my appointment time to start the testing where they do the puff of air, take eye pics, etc. Dr. Cummings was the best Optometrist I have ever visited. Definitely not a one star office for exams. I was there a few months ago to renew my contacts prescription and was given the wrong diagnoses as far as what my vision needed. I went back for the one week follow up and told the lady at the desk that it was definitely the wrong prescription. She took me to the back for a quick check and agreed that it was not right.
