My girlfriend and I went to Sura on 05/17. The experience was abysmal. When we arrived at the restaurant, we weren't greeted or seated for about 3-5 minutes –there was no one at the host's stand. There was even a line forming behind us. When we were finally seated, we weren't offered any water. They advertised on the sign outside/website free mango lassi's for lunch, so we ordered those. Recently coordinated a dinner with a large group (14 people) and they were super accommodating and helpful. They handled all of our drinks and orders well and we received everything at the same time. The food was amazing and the service was great, especially considering there were so many of us.

Sura Indian Bistro: Style Over Substance, at a Premium Price Sura has clearly invested in its atmosphere, but the food doesn't come close to justifying the cost and that's ultimately what matters at a restaurant. The samosa chaat was mostly chickpeas and lacked the yogurt and tamarind sauce that normally comes with it. Additionally, it did not have the contrast of soft and crunchy textures that normally make samosa chaat delicious. The mixed tandoori platter ($30) was a disappointment.
