We stayed here for three days after being evacuated from our community due to wildfires. Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. Unlike two other hotels we stayed at during the evacuation, which waived deposits given our circumstances, this hotel required a $200 deposit. From that, they deducted two separate pet deposits—even though we only had one pet—leaving us with only $140 refunded. The staff were cold and unhelpful. When we first arrived, the property itself literally made my stomach turn, and the first thought I had was what did I get us into? The area is not good and the building is old with no real upkeep or properly maintained. Checking in was very awkward and very old school. The room itself seemed clean however we noticed it was actually very dirty and disgusting, and the door didn’t seal closed properly. Check in went well. Staff not that friendly. Room could be cleaner. Location was good though.
