The hotel was run down, dirty and reeked of urine. As we made our way to our room I almost changed my mind about staying there. The hallway was littered with debris and looked like it hadn't seen a vacuum in months. There was a strong urine smell in the upstairs hallway but the smell in main level hallway was unbearable. I booked online so like everyone else i looked at the photos and booked a night. I walked in and it smelled so nasty, like dog pee. I got my key and went upstairs but not before seeing a whole crime scene with cops and yellow crime scene tape in the hallway. All while a foul smell burned my nose and throat. I made it to the room and the smell was still there along with a non working toilet. I was unable to get a refund and I the smell stayed with me for over an hour.
