Sunshine insurance is the worst insurance I ever saw. None of them care. The government needs to do something about it. Specifically the case manager.
Awful! Why change my PCP out of the blue, before an important appointment? Only for the new PCP to be for children? It is not right whatsoever! It has caused me a lot of wasted hours getting all this mess cleared up, then on top of that changing my birthday back to the wrong year after it was fixed? It is like someone went in and randmoly reste everything. Terrible.

I’m writing this review because I think this insurance company sure not be in this country. This is absolutely bullying to a patients and families. But no only the company also that people who works for this company. I’m asking my self if this people don’t have family and needs. How can people work for a health insurance whose are stilling the money from a Medicaid and government that provides this for who needs help?
Even when you are going to put up with a company as inefficient as Alivi, this Company has Subsidiary Companies like Optimum that give a bad Service and Alivi allows it and justifies it. I see that you as a Medical Insurance Company in Reviews have only 1.8 Stars and it will continue to decrease because you are demonstrating a great inability to have control of those who work for you. The worst health plan ever. I have been on hold for over 2 hours only to obtain a vision phone #. They have yet not given it to me. Please change your plan. Customer service is the worst customer service ever. I have been transferred 7x and yet no one can provide the right information. What saddens me is that I was a supervisor in NYC for Medicaid calling center. And my department was never like this health plan. I made sure my staff was trained correctly and professionally. Please change plans ASAP!!!!!!!
I switched to sunshine health recently and I've been denied doctor's approve arthritis patches for my back by sunshine health even though medical proof show that I have arthritis up and down my spine and I have a pinch nerve and to make matters worse they denied my acid reflux gerd capsules that I've been on for years again medical evidence proves gerd and hietal hernia that I have ,so I'm assuming that this particular medicaid insurance company does care if a patient lives or die to continually denied a patient access to m... read more
