We had reservations for a family beach vacation with Sunset and found out 2 weeks prior that our reservation had been cancelled. We have tried to call over 100 times and can’t get anyone to answer the phone. Left multiple messages with no response. We are still waiting on a refund. Here we are 1 week away from vacation and having to find a new place AND still don’t have our money back. I would not recommend Sunset Luxury Properties. Much better places that you can choose from.
We had a good visit last year and we booked the same home this year. We have had the reservation for months and months and then three days before we leave for our trip they inform us that our reservation is cancelled because the owners changed management companies and there was nothing to be done. This company has completely done us dirty. We had a home booked for the last year, same home we’ve stayed in the last 3 years. The people who owned the home went with a different company to rent their home out. A week before we leave for vacation we didn’t receive a receipt for this rental. So we reached out. After we reached out they sent us an email saying they are refunding us the money that they no longer rent this house out. 6/2/26 we received an email today stating the home we had made the deposit for in Dec was no longer managed by Sunset Luxury. We contacted the new management company and the property is no longer available the week had reserved. We have been strung along for more that 2 weeks and now with less than 3 weeks until our reservation are left trying to find another place. We have not had anyone contact us as of 5/31/26. We booked June 20-27th at Oliver’s & Oliver’s too and made the initial payment but have not been able to make co... read more
