RecommendedI had a very good experience at Sunset eye care yesterday. The staff were all super helpful and friendly! However, If i could change anything, i wouldve spoken up when the actual eye dr. Caught me offguard makin comments about my “life choices” because im only 43 and i am a mother of 4 grown children and ima Grandmother of 2. Great place, friendly staff. I have been going for 8years and finally talked my husband in to going. They were able to get him in same day which was great.

I learned my lesson today to be more familiar with my vision insurance coverage. My daughter was overcharged nearly $100 because someone at Sunset Eye Care made gross insurance billing errors. I thought the health insurance info was only collected for emergency situations but it was billed instead of the vision insurance. Taylor was not forthcoming with an apology on the phone, and Sheryl did not do a good job of maintaining her professionalism with an irate customer (me). First time there and I loved it. Fast professional and a wonderful staff.
By far one of my favorite optometry offices. The tech and doctor were so nice and patient with my 6 year old and really took their time to make sure they were accurate. Mrs. Isela was also incredibly patient and thoughtful with my daughter while she tried on almost every pair of glasses and never seemed bothered or rushed. Definitely a great experience, especially for her first time getting glasses.
I had a scheduled an eye exam for over two weeks with another eye care center. Once we arrived they said our insurance wasn't covered. After calling around I called sunset eye care and they went above and beyond to get my dad in before he left town for another month. I can't say thank you enough. Great experience.
